Data You Enter

For calculations you may enter birth date, time and place, geographic coordinates, time zone and report options. We use these data to calculate and display results. We do not use them for advertising profiling, do not sell them and do not send normal calculations to external astrology services.

Some older calculations pass parameters in the URL. In that case entered values may appear in browser history and ordinary web-hosting access logs.

Birth Profile Storage

The birth profile is stored only in the necessary OLA_BIRTH_PROFILE cookie in the browser where you enter it. This avoids repeated typing. If you delete the cookie in your browser settings, the profile disappears.

Because there is no registered account and no permanent server-side profile database, there is no separate profile-deletion request. Deletion is done by removing cookies for this website.

Necessary Cookies and Session

The website uses only technical cookies needed for the service to work:

• OLA_BIRTH_PROFILE - birth profile stored in this browser,
• OLA_SESSID - temporary PHP session for forms, CSRF protection and last in-progress results,
• OLA_LANG - selected interface language.

Cookies are not used for advertising. The temporary PHP session may briefly contain technical form state or a link to the last result so it is not lost when returning to a page.

Operational and Security Data

Web hosting may store ordinary server logs, such as IP address, request time, browser type and requested URL. These data are used for operation, security, troubleshooting and overload protection.

Some calculations use simple request limiting. For that purpose a technical record of request counts in a short time window may be stored.

External Services

We use only a few external services needed for website operation:

• Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise - protects selected calculations against automated abuse.
• Stripe - used only for voluntary project support; payment data are entered directly at Stripe.
• Google Maps - we only link to maps; data are sent to Google only when you open the link or use Google Maps.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks or social plugins to track visitors.

Security

The public version of the service runs over HTTPS. Internal application directories and data files are protected against direct download. Still, no web application or internet transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Mobile Application

The On-line Astrology mobile application is a separate program. This section of the policy applies to its use; the other sections of this page describe the website service.

The application performs its calculations directly on the phone. The application itself has no permission to access the internet, does not connect to any server and does not transmit entered or calculated data.

The application requires no account or registration and contains no analytics, advertising or crash reporting. Birth data you enter remain in the application storage on your device, are not backed up to the cloud and can be deleted in the application or by uninstalling it.

The data needed for calculations are included with the installation and are not downloaded by the application. The detailed policy is also available directly in the application on the “About” screen.
