About the Project
On-line Astrology builds on the project’s original astrological calculations, texts and archived modules. The current version is a gradual modernization: it unifies the visual style, makes older parts easier to maintain and prepares the calculations for ordinary web hosting.
Author Role
The original astrological content, calculation logic, archive materials, project direction and ongoing review of outputs remain with the project author. Codex acted as a technical helper, not as an independent author of the astrological method.
Technical Collaboration
The modernization was technically assisted by Codex, an AI coding assistant from OpenAI, guided through continuous dialogue with the project author. Codex helped propose and apply code changes, find bugs, unify the website structure and test results.
Identification of this collaboration: Codex is not the site operator and is not the author of the original astrological method; it is a development tool used while editing this project.
The core technical conversion and modernization work was carried out with Codex. Cursor was also used with a selected Gemini model as a supporting tool. Google Antigravity was used mainly for result checking and review of changes. Direction, decisions, ongoing review and publication remain with the project author.
Main areas of collaboration:
- unifying the visual style of the main app, dashboard, forms and result pages,
- cleaning old HTML headers, encodings and legacy sections toward UTF-8 and mobile display,
- gradually integrating EfemeJS, Daily Influences, Bonus, Reality, AkuTime and ChronosXP into the new structure,
- connecting and checking calculations around the local PHP Swiss Ephemeris / swetest.php solution,
- adjusting texts, links, footers, legal pages, cookie-based birth-profile storage and overload protection,
- ongoing local testing under Apache/PHP before upload to hosting.
Transparency
This note is here to make clear that part of the technical modernization was AI-assisted work. Outputs are being reviewed, compared with original results and may continue to be refined.
